[Journal Club] Constraining cosmological scaling solutions of a Galileon field

I discuss 2112.06892 on cosmological constraints on Galileon scaling solutions. I give a brief overview of scaling solutions and how these are motivated in cosmology. Then I present the details and constraints in 2112.06892 on the scaling cubic Galileon which were obtained with compiled cosmological data sets at low and high redshifts. I end with an open discussion of the various directions which could be considered in relation to scaling solutions.
